A Home for Start-Up Tech

If you ever owned a start-up business you know how lonely and pressuring it can feel. Every issue demands your attention. You constantly chase down money and clients. I always say the best thing about starting a company is: Everything is up to you. And the worst thing about starting a company is: Everything is up to you.

Often a start-up will be "virtual" meaning it has no physical location. It sounds cool when you say it, but normally it means you just can't afford an office space or you work from home. That's where a company like TechHub comes in.

TechHub is a project just getting started in Europe. It will help start-up tech companies by providing affordable (read as cheap) office space for these companies. TechHub also wants to offer a start-up friendly environment. Which is awesome because there's something to be said for throwing around ideas with like-minded individuals. While the big companies often focus on competition, start-ups can find synergy and partnership by working with similar companies. TechHub even says on their site that they are looking for people who want to "change the world" with their business.

While in America we have plenty of cohabitation spaces, (at least in the big cities), its harder to find this kind of environment in Europe. Or so says Mike Butcher from TechCrunch Europe. He is also taking part in the TechHub project. And he promises that this little company has a bright future, full of entrepreneurial spirit.
