Meebo: bringing everything together

If you use social media or different instant messaging services to stay in touch with client of employees, you might want to consider Meebo. Meebo is a messaging service that allows you to connect with multiple messaging services all at once.
Being able to be plugged into to multiple services at once allows you to have a presence on multiple services without all of the hassles of having them all open at once. You don't have to worry about checking multiple windows or icons, you only have to have one window open, and it uses less computer memory to just run meebo than twenty services at once. So you get all the visibility without any of the hassle.

Meebo also offer group chat rooms so if you need to meet with multiple people working on a project you can do so. You can also share pictures and even video through the service as well. All the tools you expect to have from each individual service are combined into this one that you can leave open on your browser. (Note: there is also a meebo plug-in for Firefox users.)
Meebo will allow you to connect with the following services all at one time (or one at a time if you prefer):

• Yahoo
• Facebook
• GTalk
• AIM (AOL Instant Messanger)
• MSN
• Jabber
• MySpace
• MyYearBook
• ICQ

The only service I think they should consider adding is Skype.

Meebo has one multiple awards and been featured by Firefox, Mashable and CNet. They will be at SxSW this year as well.

Have you ever used Meebo? What did you use it for (project management, customer service, etc.)? What did you think?
