Its okay, I understand, its hard to resist a Mac. I'm an outspoken PC user with no desire to change, but even I'll admit, those sleek white curves and tiny keypad screams style. Personally, I want more from my laptop than a pretty face, but if looks matter to you, I can forgive you.

Now, getting a Mac in business can unleash a special set of problems. The number one being compatibility. You can't open Word documents and other programs don't come made for a Mac. Suddenly your fashionable notebook computer feels useless. Fortunately, there's a cure (and I do mean besides the obvious one: dumping your Mac).

Enter Mac OS X. This operating system allows you to integrate with Windows or just Microsoft services. The latest version, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard can be bought through Apple for £129.00.

The way Mac OS X runs Windows is through a handy little program called Boot Camp. Boot Camp creates a partition on your hard drives which runs Windows so that you can have a Mac with all its features and still use Windows at the same time. If you have a Mac and want to install Windows using Boot Camp, there is a great walk-through here.

If you need more info, be sure to check out the Apple FAQ for Boot Camp. Note: Mac will not provide any technical support for Windows, and Microsoft won't provide much help for a Mac, so be sure you find an IT guy who understands both if you decide to do this.

Are you a Mac fan? Take the survey below and then tell us why in the comments.
