Tips for Brochures 1 comment

Creating a small business from scratch has never been easier. All you need is a business plan, business cards, brochures, and a good attitude. Thanks to online printing, you can take care of even the most minute details at home. Smartphones, wifi and the internet have given us the ability to business anywhere, anytime. What used to require overhead and office space now only takes a laptop.
However, traditional media can still be incredibly useful to a small business, no matter how digitally minded they are. Business cards are still exchanged in day to day conversation and brochure still makes the best leave-behind material after you meet with a prospective client.
Here a couple of quick tips to make the most out your brochures:
• Branding: Stick with what you got! All your materials should match.
• Make your message simple: Don't overwhelm them with details, leave them wanting to call you for more!
• Provide "Next Steps". Let them known in the brochure that if they like what they see then need to do a, b, and c.
• Put all your contact information on the brochure, specifically your website, make sure to direct prospects towards it.
Have you used brochures in a small business? How were they effective for you?
