Top 5 ways to keep your business mobile

Life continues to rush by. With all the new technology, international business at our fingertips and social media making new instantaneous, its harder to find ways to keep up. However, here are a few (super easy) tips to keep your business faster and less hectic.

1. If you're like me, you spend a lot of time in your car, driving to appointments, meetings, networking events and classes. Invest in car chargers for all your electronic devices. Get in the habit of plugging something in every time you get in the car.

2. Set up Google Docs. Seriously, if you aren't using Google Apps, at least use Docs. The ability to keep your documents online and accessible to all your workers and clients is awesome.

3. Need more help with project management? Try Basecamp. Basecamp is a web-based project collaboration tool. If you haven't tried it, there is a 30 day free trial. It will handle contacts, tasks, calendars and more.

4. Google Voice. What more do I need to say? The ability to get all your voicemail, text messages and calls in one place can really help keep you in touch wherever your business takes you.

5. Keep your website mobile friendly. Even when you're not working, your website is. Make sure your company information is even more mobile than you are.
