Shell Cuts Office Noise Pollution With Kell’s Server Cabinet no comments
Kell Systems' PSE24 ComputerVault Pro Kell Server Cabinet will now be used by global petrochemical giant, Shell, for its virtual reality communications suites in Aberdeen, Scotland, and Stavanger (Norway).

Kell's server cabinet allows for the deployment of servers and network hardware directly in the office workspace, eliminating the need for separate computer rooms. This significantly helps to reduce costs, electricity consumption and CO2 emissions in offices. Typically, the Kell's server cabinet helps offices reduce server noise by 90%, CO2 emissions up to 97%, floor space by 90%, operating costs by 98%, and capital costs up to 80%.
In the wake of new legislation introduced with regard to office working standards, health and safety as well as green energy efficiency, Shell's implementation of the PSE24 ComputerVault Pro Kell Server Cabinet represents its commitment to improve office energy efficiency and enhance the working conditions of its 100,000 workers across 90 global terrains.
Initially, Shell will be using the technology in seven rooms, providing 24 rack spaces per cabinet.
